Birthday Bash: make your child the star of the party
Birthday Bash is a personalized puzzle that drops your child into a joyful celebration of balloon arches, towering cakes and confetti showers. We start from a photo you upload and keep their real face, hair, and skin tone, then place them at the center of a magical party scene. The finished portrait becomes a premium custom jigsaw puzzle they can build again and again.
$65 110 pieces, 8″ × 10″

The same portrait also prints as a canvas or a framed canvas, ready to hang.
Your child, the hero of Birthday Bash
Picture your child standing beneath a soaring rainbow balloon arch, a towering tiered cake glowing with candles beside them and confetti drifting down through warm party light. That is the heart of Birthday Bash: a cinematic celebration scene built around their real face, hair, and skin tone, so it always looks like them and never like a generic cartoon kid. The whole thing prints as a sturdy, premium jigsaw puzzle, which makes it equal parts keepsake and rainy-afternoon activity. Before a single piece is cut, you see and approve a full watermarked proof, so nothing prints until the portrait makes you smile. We treat your photo with care: the uploaded image is deleted within 24 hours, it is never used to train AI, and your child's name is never sent to the image model. Boys and girls can both be the star of the party, and the scene works just as beautifully for a single child or a whole family gathered together. It is the kind of gift that turns one birthday into a memory they get to rebuild every time the box comes out.

What families are saying
Real reviews, with the photos customers sent us.
“The puzzle quality is excellent. We enjoyed putting it together. It wasn’t all that easy, which made it that much more enjoyable.”
“The canvas arrived today and I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love it. It’s adorable, and honestly beyond words.”
“I didn’t think a painting this messy and wild could turn into stitching, but every stroke is there.”
“She dumps out the pieces and stays with it until the whole picture comes together. Such an easy way to get her off the tablet for an afternoon.”
“I had our daughter’s first drawing of ‘Mom and Dad’ stitched onto a shirt for my husband’s birthday. The stitching is so precise, you can see every line she actually drew.”
“The quality is wonderful and I love the weight of it. The portrait printed beautifully, and you can tell it’s the kind of blanket that will only get softer and cozier with every wash.”
“Got this for my granddaughter and we were both blown away. Genuinely beautiful, not just a novelty.”
“He was not even two when he made this, so it is just paint he pushed around with his hands. Now it is stitched on a shirt instead of leaning against a wall at home.”
“The AI transformation would have been worth it on its own, but the puzzle is legitimately well made too. Sturdy pieces, rich color, no gaps.”
Questions about the Birthday Bash puzzle
Anything else, write to hello@thecuriousthing.com.
Can both boys and girls be the star of the birthday scene?
Yes. Birthday Bash works beautifully for any child, and you simply pick the styling you prefer when you order. The balloons, cake, and confetti stay the same wonderful party either way, and you confirm the look on the watermarked proof before anything prints.
Will the puzzle actually look like my child, including their skin tone and hair?
It will. We build the portrait from the photo you upload and preserve your child's real face, hair, and skin tone rather than swapping in a generic look. If anything feels off, you can ask for a change at the watermarked proof stage, before a single piece is printed.
Is this appropriate for younger kids?
Absolutely. The birthday scene is bright, friendly, and never scary, so it suits toddlers through older children. You always review the full watermarked proof first, so you decide exactly what your child sees before anything prints.
