Photograph something they made and we keep every line exactly as they drew it, wobbles and all. The metal is cut along the outside of their lines, and anything drawn apart is joined to the rest, so the whole picture is one solid piece.

What does the necklace actually look like? +
A pendant about an inch tall, cut to the outline of the design, so a portrait is shaped like the person and a drawing like what they drew. The lines are printed in crisp black or laser engraved into the metal, your choice, with a fine line around the edge. It hangs on an 18 inch chain and arrives in a gift box.
Black line or engraved? +
The same pendant at the same price, finished two ways. Black line prints your design in crisp black lines. Engraved is a laser mark in the metal itself, a subtle frosted line that is clearest on gold and softer on steel and sterling. The studio shows each one on the real pendant before you choose.
Is the preview what I will get? +
The drawing in the studio is your design, not a picture of the necklace: the lines of the exact file we send to be made. The studio also shows the pendant itself: the maker’s own system renders that same file on the real piece, in each metal and in the finish you picked, so you can see how it will actually look before you pay.
Which metals can I choose? +
Stainless steel ($59), gold plated over stainless steel with a gold chain ($69), or solid sterling silver with an anti-tarnish finish ($89).
Can I use a photo of a pet or a grown-up? +
Yes. Any clear photo of a face works: a child, a partner, a parent or a pet. If there are several people in the photo, we draw the one closest to the camera.
What happens to my photo? +
It is used to draw the previews and is not stored. Only the design you approve is kept, because it is the file your pendant is made from.
How long does it take? +
Each pendant is made to order in the US. It leaves the workshop in 2 to 5 days, then ships by standard post.
