Photograph something they made and we keep every line exactly as they drew it, wobbles and all. A smooth border goes around the whole picture, so thin arms and whiskers stay part of one solid piece.

What does the necklace actually look like? +
A pendant about an inch tall, cut to the outline of the design, so a portrait is shaped like the person and a drawing like what they drew. The lines are laser engraved into the metal, with a fine engraved line around the edge. It hangs on an 18 inch chain and arrives in a gift box.
Is the preview what I will get? +
The first preview is drawn from the exact file we send to the engraver, with the lines darkened so you can judge the likeness. Engraved, the lines are a lighter frosted mark in the metal: clearest on gold, softer on steel and sterling. Under the preview, the engraver’s own system renders the same file on the real pendant in each metal, so you can see how it will actually look before you pay.
Which metals can I choose? +
Stainless steel ($59), gold plated over stainless steel with a gold chain ($69), or solid sterling silver with an anti-tarnish finish ($89).
Can I use a photo of a pet or a grown-up? +
Yes. Any clear photo of a face works: a child, a partner, a parent or a pet. If there are several people in the photo, we draw the one closest to the camera.
What happens to my photo? +
It is used to draw the previews and is not stored. Only the design you approve is kept, because it is the file that gets engraved.
How long does it take? +
Each pendant is made to order in the US. It leaves the engraver in 2 to 5 days, then ships by standard post.
